More Than a Church. A Community.
Lavington Vineyard Church is an international, multicultural family of believers who gather every Sunday in Westlands, Nairobi, and live as the church seven days a week.
Our story began in April 2014 when a small group of people felt called to plant a church in the heart of Nairobi, a Vineyard church that would welcome people from every nation, every background, and every stage of faith.
Today, we are approximately 250 adults and 150 children and youth from over 20 nations, gathering every Sunday as part of the Association of Vineyard Churches — Kenya (AVC).
As a Vineyard church, we hold to the core values of the global Vineyard movement: Spirit-empowered worship, the Kingdom of God made visible, radical welcome, and compassionate action. We are egalitarian, we believe in the full participation and gifting of every person.
We are not just a Sunday gathering. Through Home Groups, ministries, Alpha, outreach, and global missions, we live as the church throughout the week.

Home Groups: Where Church Gets Real.
Sunday is where we gather. Home Groups are where we know and are known. These are the primary way we pursue community, accountability, and spiritual growth beyond Sunday, through honest sharing, God's Word, and Spirit-led prayer.
