Prison Visits
Langata Women's Remand Prison
Visit Times: Every Thursday 2.00 - 3.30pm, meet in parking lot at 1.50 pm
Where: Parking lot/Guard House of the Lang’ata Women’s Prison. Once all the visitors are checked in and gathered, we walk to the Remand building, where we are escorted either by a chaplain and/or officer in charge.
Who Can Visit: Ages 18+ only, men and women
Nairobi West Men’s Medium Security Prison
Visit Times: The first Saturday of the month, 9 – 11:00am. Meet outside at 8.50 am
Where: Parking lot of Nairobi West Prison, off of Lang’ata Road. It shares an entrance with AMREF. (See Directions provided below)
Who Can Visit: Ages 18+ only, men and women
Kamae Girls Borstal
When: Last Saturday of every month, 9.00 - 10. 30 am.
Note: Transport departs at 8am sharp. It takes about an hour to get there. It is recommended you budget the entire morning for this visit, due to possible traffic.
Where: Meet at designated parking lot near Junction Mall, see directions to meet up point below
Who Can Visit: All ages, including children
